ABOUT MEGAN (She/Her)
Megan is a Senior Manager within United Minds, part of the Weber Shandwick Collective. Megan’s experience involves proactively building brands’ reputations through thoughtful and effective programing, and just as importantly, safeguarding reputations through risk and issues mitigation.
Currently, Megan works on employee engagement and change management work streams for a variety of clients. This work includes developing communications strategies for groups of employees, dispersed regionally and functionally, and conducting research to uncover insights that drives human-first strategies and programming.
Previously, Megan served as an account manager for Weber Shandwick, where she executed integrated communications campaigns to drive awareness of well-known brands’ purpose and innovation work. Megan was also a member of the core issues management team that navigated internal and external communications for a national grocery store amid the novel Coronavirus pandemic, including translating complex crisis situations into crisp, jargon-free messages that spoke to target audiences including employees, customers and media.
Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida and currently lives in Chicago.
