ABOUT JULES (he/him)

Jules Johnston has over ten years of experience in content development and narrative strategy, built upon a varied career that included being part POLITICO Europe and advising on editorial and content strategy for The Brussels Times. ​ A convert to the consulting world, Jules brings a wealth of experience crafting messages and content that appeal to a wider audience (employees, policymakers, patients), specializing in taking company objectives and translating them into manageable narratives and stories for internal and external audiences. ​​

Jules leads narrative and message development, creative storytelling, and editorial strategy for a range of international and EU clients, with a focus on the health space. He also leads practical trainings and workshops to equip clients to tell their story in a way that sticks. ​​

His client experience in the health communications space includes working for Novartis on a variety of European and local level communication briefs (eg thought leadership, content strategy & message crafting), as well as multi-market communications strategy for Roche, Sanofi, Incyte, and patient organizations such as FESCA to name a few. ​​

​Born and raised in the West of Scotland, Jules has a degree in Journalism from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and is a native English speaker with a growing proficiency in Dutch.
