ABOUT ALEXIS
Alexis is an Associate Consultant for United Minds, part of the Weber Shandwick Collective. Alexis is results-driven with over 5 years of experience in public policy and administration. She is passionate about change management and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining us, Alexis worked for multiple cabinet-level agencies including the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families where she led large-scale organizational change efforts. Keeping underserved and underrepresented communities at the heart of what she does, Alexis has a proven track record of developing and integrating policy, practices and procedures from the ground up in close partnership with non-profit organizations and elite academic institutions.
Alexis earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington State University and published a report centered around child welfare policy in the United States that she presented to the Domestic Policy Council at the White House.
Coming from Seattle, Alexis now lives in NYC with her two cats, named R2-D2 and BB-8.
