ABOUT SHERRIE (SHE/HER)
Sherrie Gu is Vice President, Operations at United Minds.
As the operations lead at United Minds, Sherrie serves as a dot connector across both the commercial and talent parts of the business. On any given day at UM, you’ll find her wearing multiple hats: serving as air traffic controller for UM’s leadership team, defining new workflow processes, forecasting financial targets, managing recruiting and resourcing operations, or launching onboarding programs. The through line behind these different roles is Sherrie’s mission is to enable all UMers to deliver impactful work.
Previously, Sherrie oversaw resourcing operations at ?What If! Innovation, an innovation consultancy part of Accenture. Before transitioning to the world of business operations, she began her career in the agency world, specializing in product communications for healthcare clients.
Sherrie graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and holds a B.A in Political Science and Sociology.
Outside of work, you can find Sherrie exploring New York City’s ever-changing restaurant scene and adding to her endless list of favorite dining spots.
