Lee transferred to United Minds from Weber Shandwick to focus on his passion for helping leaders drive success through communications.
His first 20 years were spent in technology communications, as a consultant for brands like Microsoft, NVIDIA, Samsung and IBM, as well as inhouse at PayPal, Nokia and Computer Associates. More recently he has been using his technology experience to help leaders across many industries position for disruption.
Lee helped General Motors shape its innovation narrative, including working with CEO and Chair Mary Barra and her executive team to write the keynote speech for CES 2021 and Mary’s opening speech and several other speeches for GM’s Investor Day. He supported Delta Air Lines as their CEO Ed Bastian prepared for CES 2020, and strategized with C suite executives from Cisco, VMWare and Verizon as well as helping the National Pork Board launch the first technology accelerator in the MidWest.
At the core of Lee’s work has been his ability to understand markets and landscapes quickly, synthesize arguments, position for success and help executives find their voice. At United Minds, Lee will focus on Leadership Impact, helping executives use communications to drive advocacy from stakeholder audiences as they navigate workforce transformation, changing social expectations, technology insurgency and shareholder pressures.
Lee lives in Seattle with his wife Debbie and is a lover of mountain ranges, coral reefs, thought-provoking literature and his neighbourhood church.
