ABOUT HENA
Hena Vadher is a Manager with United Minds, part of the Weber Shandwick Collective. Her unique background in disaster relief and humanitarian recovery management informs her grounded, equity-centered approach to supporting clients through change management, internal communications, and employee experience initiatives.
After interning with UNHCR—the UN’s Refugee Agency in Geneva, Switzerland as an undergraduate, Hena went on to implement culturally and trauma-informed programming with the educational equity organization Breakthrough Twin Cities, coordinate the American Red Cross’ local disaster relief responses for New York City’s 8 million residents, and most recently supported communications and operations efforts for the California Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 K-12 schools testing response serving California’s over 6 million students and educators. Having experienced the value of healthy culture and communication in the wake of crisis and change contexts firsthand, Hena is passionate about navigating complex, fluid contexts to support United Minds’ clients in realizing their cultural goals.
Hena holds a bachelor’s degree in International and Area Studies with a concentration in development from Washington University in St. Louis.
