ABOUT FERNANDA (SHE/HER)
Fernanda is an executive with global experience in Employee Communication in complex environments in challenging geographies, different languages and cultures, having experiences in countries such as Mozambique, Indonesia, Malaysia and Chile. Bachelor in Communication, she has five post-graduate degrees in the fields such as Marketing, Business, Digital Media, Corporate
Communication and Project Management from renowned institutions like Fundação Getúlio Vargas, University of California, COPPE-UFRJ, PUC and IBMEC. She consociated her expertise Corporate Communication working for almost two decades in mining global company Vale, dealing with internal communication, engagement, cultural transformation and change management.
Her approach is based on diagnoses and metrics, having developed communication strategies to support business objectives on high level themes such as culture, safety, diversity, sustainability, ethics, engagement, and employee induction, among others. As internal channels editor, she curated key messages aligned to the EVP (Employee Value Proposition), producing and distributing content mix – written, visual, video, broadcasts, gamification and user-generated content – in various formats such as newsletters, Apps, intranet, and digital signage. She has trained and supported leaders to inform and inspire their teams through face-to-face communication.
She has planned and coordinated strategic events – in-person and virtual – fostering internal alignment and sense of belonging. In her early career, Fernanda has also worked as Communication for pulp and paper company Fibria and in retail, as Marketing Coordinator for store fashion brands Folic and Checklist.
