A BIT MORE ABOUT ERICKA
Ericka is a Vice President at United Minds. She has helped clients craft creative and sympathetic messaging for employees during transformational periods, led human capital due diligence efforts during some of the most significant mergers and acquisitions of the past decade, and developed DE&I strategies for the world’s most recognizable companies. Ericka’s clients have spanned from technology, engineering, and startups to healthcare, non-profits, manufacturing.
Prior to joining United Minds, Ericka held positions at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS). At GDMS, she partnered closely with C-suite leaders to create and drive a DEI-based culture change program, post-COVID return-to-office plans, and a new employee value proposition.
Earlier, Ericka was an employee experience specialist in the corporate advisory practice at Edelman. There, she played a key role driving culture changes, business transformations, and organizational redesigns for Fortune-100 clients; as well building capabilities for the transformation practice. In 2019, she won a Silver Anvil, the highest award in the communications industry, for her strategic work supporting Petco’s removal of artificial food from its shelves.
Ericka has a B.A. in public relations and advertising from Loyola University Chicago, an economics certificate from Johns Hopkins University, and is fluent in Spanish and French. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to exotic destinations and serving as a commissioner on her city’s housing authority.
