Jean Williams is a Senior Associate within United Minds, a consultancy of Weber Shandwick. Within her role she helps clients leverage two of their most important assets – their employees and their reputation. In this capacity, Jean has supported clients in activating employee engagement around company-wide sustainability programs, rolling out new intranet designs, implementing a new purpose statement within a global organization, and driving a large-scale change and communications initiative around an organizational restructure. She has also partnered with clients’ internal communications functions to create content that inspires, informs and engages employees. Jean’s experience spans across industries including pharmaceutical, consumer goods, technology, and others.
Prior to joining United Minds, Jean worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at NBCUniversal where she was a valued member of their News HR function. As a Coordinator, Jean supported thousands of employees from an employee journey and lifecycle perspective. Jean partnered closely with the internal communications function at NBCUniversal to develop an Employee Value Proposition and conducted focus groups across the business to gain feedback. Jean also assisted in putting together a communications timeline and initial plan for the rollout of new materials and the EVP.
Jean earned her Master of Arts degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from the Teachers College of Columbia University in New York, NY.
